Third Annual BLH Get Together

Join fellow Bedford horse lovers for a casual get together. Meet fellow trail riders and backyard barn owners and local competitors. We'll update everyone on our activities over the past year to make sure Bedford remains a horse friendly community. 4-6 pm, Saturday June 15. Location will be included in a subsequent email.

Bernie Traurig Clinic benefitting Pegasus

Bernie Traurig has represented the US Equestrian Team and reached the top of the sport in all three international equestrian Olympic disciplines: show jumping, dressage and eventing. This is a two-day jumping clinic (Saturday and Sunday) with four groups - all ages, all levels. At Coker Farm in Bedford. Plus private lessons available on Monday. Bedford Hunter Pace and Luncheon

For riders, The Bedford Riding Lanes' Annual Spring Country Pace and luncheon provide an opportunity to ride the most beautiful of the historic Bedford Riding Lanes' trails. This yearly spring event is the largest gathering of equestrians from all over the area. Known for its carefully groomed trails, for riders of all levels, it includes a delicious luncheon under a great white tent at the John Jay Homestead Historic Site. For non-riders, it's a wonderful opportunity to watch the horses as they get to the finish line and feel close to Bedford's country character.

Equine Affaire in W. Springfield, MA

The largest horse related trade show in the East, Equine Affaire is a good place to shop for all of your horse and rider needs. Browse through acres of equine products and services. World Champions, National Champions, Olympians, WEG and Pan Am competitors, popular equestrian TV personalities, professional equestrian performers, authors, judges, veterinarians, professors, and other top industry professionals will come together to share their expertise through clinics and seminars. The Horse & Farm Exhibits is an area dedicated to the promotion of horse farms, training facilities, lesson facilities, breeding stallions, and horses for sale. The Fantasia show is two hours Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. For those not familiar with the Fantasia, it is best described as a “musical celebration of the horse” featuring outstanding equine and equestrian performers from all corners of the nation choreographed to musical styles ranging from traditional and country to classical and contemporary.
