What is this Bulletin Board?
Remember when you used to post a small index card on the community bulletin board? Well, here's a place where you can post a comment, question, announcement. . . whatever (!) just like an old-fashioned bulletin board on the wall. We moderate the postings regularly, and we'll take down your posting after 30 days if you don't request earlier removal. Alternatively, you can request a later expiration date, which of course we will consider.

Title of Post: 1/2 lease available 3rd level Dressage Gelding
Posted on 8/23/2019 9:28:28 AM ET   by Diana Heimann   [expires 9/23/2019]
I am offering a half lease on my Andelusian Gelding. He began training 4th level recently and is a very well mannered 14 year old. He is perfect for anyone training in second or third level and is offered for 1,250.00 on site at my Bedford location. There is a large beautiful outdoor ring right next to his paddock and a trainer onsite. Minimum commitment is 3 months so Sept thru end of November. One of the best personalities and easy gaits.

Title of Post: Looking for solid trail horse for kids......
Posted on 9/10/2019 10:57:06 AM ET   by Christy Counts   [expires 10/10/2019]
On the search for a "been there, done that" trail horse appropriate for children riders. We are very flexible on breed but prefer 13 hands or under. We are located in Bedford, NY.

I don't know of any ponies in particular, but a couple good places to look for ponies (and horses) are:

1. Area 1 USEA Facebook group. This is the group for the local area eventers, but they often post ponies that have been there done that, and eventing ponies have good manners across country and typically have been on a lot of trail rides.

2. EquineNow and Dreamhorse are large posting boards. You can find a good pony there, but it will require some looking.

3. Farnley ponies are a well-known breeding and training outfit, they specialize in Welsh ponies and crosses: http://farnley.us/contactanddirections.html
